CONVENTION 2013 – GREAT SUCCESS!
The NYS Career School Convention held from November 13 to November 15 at the Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center in Callicoon, New York was an outstanding success. The cheers of congratulations keep flooding the Coalition Office. This event featured 250 participants from schools from every corner of New York State. Presentations by BPSS, accrediting agencies ACICS and ACCSC, and our national counterpart — APSCU, PLUS experts from financial aid, school security, healthcare, marketing and admissions –all contributed to the event!
Outstanding Graduate of the Year awards were presented to three students: Joseph Wood, from the Barbering program at Austin’s School of Spa Technology in Albany; Rodney Bravo, from the Refrigeration Mechanic and Operating Engineering program of The Refrigeration Institute in New York City; and Denise Poland, from the Culinary Arts Program of the Professional Culinary Academy in Buffalo. CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM FROM ONE AND ALL!!!
