The NYS Career School Convention is sponsored by the Coalition of NYS Career Schools and is open to all career schools. Training at the event will feature programs for best practices in admissions, recruiting, student services, marketing, financial aid, state and federal laws, recent developments in Albany and Washington, accreditation, accounting and more. Deputy Commissioner Kevin Smith and BPSS staff will be there to present important programs and answer questions about procedures, policies and practices.

Dates:
Wednesday, October 24 – Thursday, October 25
Detailed Schedule to be announced, but tentative time frame is 11:00 am Wednesday through 3:00 pm Thursday. Vendor’s may setup exhibits between 8am and noon on Wednesday.

Pricing
$750.00 per person, and includes the following:

• convention registration
• booth
• electricity
• wifi
• four meals (lunch, dinner (open bar cocktail reception), breakfast and lunch)
• convention program

Cost for additional attendees: $250.00, which covers all meals and gratuities.
